The iPhone has a large selection of standard wallpapers. Nevertheless, the functionality of the phone allows you to put on the background any picture downloaded from the Internet, or a picture taken with the camera of the device.
Instructions
Step 1
First, you need to choose a picture that will stand on the lock screen or in the main menu of your phone. Pay attention to the size of the selected picture. For iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4 or 4s, a picture of at least 640 x 960 pixels is suitable, but for iPhone 5, a slightly larger wallpaper is needed - 640x1136 pixels. There are many catalogs of images already selected on the Internet.
Step 2
If you downloaded a picture to your computer, you can transfer it to your phone using iTunes. Download this program from the official Apple website, and then install it. When you connect your phone to your computer, the program will open automatically. A button with the name of your phone will appear in the upper right corner. Press this key and go to the "Photos" folder. In the tab that opens, select the folder in which the future screensaver is located. Then click on the "Synchronization" button in the lower right corner. In the "Photos" application on your mobile, the "From my computer" folder should appear, in which the picture will be stored.
Step 3
If you want to save an image that you found on the Internet from your mobile, launch the image in full size, and then click on the button in the middle of the bottom bar of the browser. In the menu that opens, select "Save Image". The picture appears in the Camera Roll folder in the Photos application.
Step 4
Now on your iPhone, go to the Settings menu and find the Wallpaper and Brightness item. Here you can adjust the brightness of your screen, choose a new wallpaper, and also see which picture is currently on the screen saver. Click Choose New Wallpaper. The first in the open menu will be the standard pictures, which you can also put on the screensaver of your phone. Below you can see folders with saved images and photos.
Step 5
Go to the folder where the desired picture is located. A preview opens, allowing you to choose how the image will look on the lock screen or home page. You can change the scale of the picture and move it. On iOS 7, you can also select an item such as perspective, thanks to which the picture will move when you turn your phone to the side. If you are satisfied with the selected image, click "Install". Specify the background for this splash screen. You can close the settings menu - the picture will already be in the background of the main menu or the lock screen.
