Chuwi Hi10 Plus is an ultra-thin device that combines a convertible laptop with Windows 10 on board and a tablet on the Android system familiar to users.
The tablet
The tablet screen has a diagonal of 10.8 inches. There are large black stripes along its edges that fit into the overall appearance of the device. On the front there is a home button and a camera. The second camera is on the back. At the ends of the device there are volume control buttons, a power button and many connectors: mini-jack 3, 5mm, micro-usb, usb type c, micro HDMI.
Chuwi Hi10 Plus is painted in two contrasting colors - silver on the lid of the device and black around the display. Thanks to this, the tablet looks unusual and stylish. The manufacturer does not provide other color variations.
Keyboard
The tablet supports two different kinds of detachable keyboards. You can buy these keyboards either separately or immediately together with the device or complete with the chuwi hipen stylus.
The Chuwi SurBook mini keyboard is a black plastic keyboard with a fabric sleeve that helps keep your tablet on the table. It is a budget keyboard for Hi10. Membrane buttons with quiet pressing. There are variations with the Russian layout, but in some models of the keyboard, the stickers will have to be glued manually. The fabric of the cover collects all hair and dust, so it must be cleaned frequently.
Chuwi rotary is a more expensive metal keyboard. This keyboard is made in a silver color, which perfectly matches the back cover of the device. When connected, transforms the chuwi Hi10 Plus from a hybrid into a full-fledged laptop. Much more convenient than the previous version, since it does not require a support to support the tablet.
Display
The screen resolution is 1920 by 1280 pixels. The screen is very bright and easy to see in any light. The viewing angles are large, the colors are not distorted. The matrix is made using IPS technology.
Dimensions (edit)
The case is made of aluminum alloy, so the device weighs 686 grams. In terms of dimensions, the tablet is similar to ultrabooks - the height is 184.8 mm, the width is 276.4 mm, and the thickness is 8.8 mm.
Camera
Both Chuvi Plus cameras have a low resolution - only 2 megapixels. These are very low numbers for a modern device, as even cheap budget smartphones have more.
Battery
The device's 8400 mAh battery is enough to use it for 3 hours. For fast charging, a charger with a current of 3A is used.
Memory
The chuwi hi10 plus has 4GB of DDR3L RAM. The built-in memory is 64 GB, but about 40 GB remains for the user. The rest of the memory is used by 2 systems. Expandable with a microSD memory card up to 256 GB.
CPU
Chuwi tablet uses the powerful Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5 quad-core processor, clocked at 1.92GHz. The main advantage of this processor is that it is built on the x64 architecture, not arm, which allows you to install common operating systems. The processor has an integrated Intel HD Graphics Gen8 graphics card. It uses part of the processor's power and RAM for its own needs.
Operating system
The chuwi hi10 pro is preinstalled with two operating systems at once. To use the device in tablet mode, the familiar android 5, 1 is installed. Android works smoothly, the system performance is more than enough for it. The second system is installed windows 10. With it, not everything is so smooth. The processor sometimes lacks the power to handle all user processes. You can remove one of the systems (or install a completely different one), but for this you need to have special knowledge and equipment.
