Already at the beginning of 2015, some of Lenovo's new products began to receive OS updates to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Still, not all phone models received the long-awaited updated operating system. And many users of phones of this brand began to be tormented by the question: when to expect the Lenovo update?
According to the schedule drawn up by Lenovo, many Lenovo smartphones are scheduled to be updated in August and September 2015.
So, at the moment, the company has four Lenovo phones in its plans, which have not yet been updated, but are already planned for updating.
Lenovo A6000 is considered a budget novelty in 2015. Many people decided to buy Lenovo after the release of this smartphone model. This device is installed OS Android 4.4 with a proprietary shell Vibe 2.0. But already in August this year it is planned to update to Android 5.0.
Lenovo P70-A was released as a long-liver in the Lenovo smartphone market, believing that it can surpass the sales and popularity of the permanent leader - the Lenovo P780 smartphone. Still, these phones in the Chinese and European markets differ only in the communication module. Lenovo P70-A is scheduled to update to Android 5.0 operating system in September 2015.
But the update dates for the Lenovo P90 and Lenovo A5000 smartphones have not yet been announced.
Of course, the update will also affect tablets. All scheduled Lenovo tablets will receive the new OS in August 2015. It won't be long to wait. It is no longer known whether other devices from previous generations of Lenovo will officially receive Android 5.0. Perhaps, many Lenovo tablets and phones will continue to work on Android 4.4, which is familiar to many.
