If you have a problem with finding a satellite signal - do not despair, do not rush to call a specialist right now, just follow our instructions to help you enjoy watching high-quality digital TV.
Instructions
Step 1
To catch a satellite, first buy a satellite dish (they usually come with a wall mount bracket). Choose the diameter of the plate according to the channels you want to catch (Tricolor for Moscow - 55 cm, Hotbird 13E - 90 cm).
Step 2
Also buy a converter, antenna cable (do not save on it, do not buy the cheapest options), a receiver or tuner (you will need it in order to convert the satellite signal and display it on your TV screen. Also do not forget to buy F-connectors that screw on the cable, self-tapping screws with dowels (needed for mounting the bracket), and you will also need tools that are likely to be found in your home.
Step 3
First, determine the location of the plate installation, here focus on the southern direction, there should not be any obstacles in front of it. Fix the bracket firmly to the wall and install the pre-assembled antenna with converter on it.
Step 4
Now we start setting up the receiver, to do this, write some transponder on it (for example, for the Eutelsat W4 (36E) satellite - it will be 11727 L).
Step 5
Connect the receiver to the converter using the F-connectors. By the way, get a special device sat-finder (sold on radio markets, it costs about 500 rubles). Connect the device between the converter and the receiver and twist the cymbal in different directions until the device emits a certain sound. The highest pitch of the sound produced by the instrument means that the dish is pointed directly at the satellite.
Step 6
In this position, tighten the fastening nuts, disconnect the sat-fan, connect the converter to the receiver, fix the cable to the bracket with electrical tape. Then just carefully study the instructions supplied with the receiver, make all the necessary settings on it and you're done - you can enjoy watching digital television.
