The invention of television, and then the Internet, did not lead to the disappearance of such a classic media as radio. Moreover, there are radio stations that use not only air, but also the Internet to distribute the audio stream.
Instructions
Step 1
If the receiver is a classic analogue receiver, first select the desired one with the band selector, and then use the tuning knob to find the station you need. On shortwave bands, also use a fine tuning control (HF loupe) if available.
Step 2
On a radio with digital tuning, first turn on the desired band using the band selection button, and then use the arrow buttons or the knob to tune the unit to the frequency of the radio station you want to listen to. Some devices also have a numeric keypad for direct frequency entry.
Step 3
On an analogue receiver with a digital scale, adjust in the same way as described in step 1. The only difference is how the frequency is counted: it is displayed with numbers.
Step 4
To listen to an Internet radio station on a computer connected to the global network via a channel with unlimited access, first install the latest version of Flash Player. Then go to the following site:
shoutcast.com Select a genre from the list on the left side of the page, and then select a station from the list on the right side. Click on the round blue button next to its name and it will sound. If there are few stations in the list, click the "Show more" button located at the end of the list
Step 5
On a phone with a Symbian operating system, also subject to unlimited access and a correctly configured access point (APN), go to the following website:
mundu.com Register on it, log in with your username and password, edit the list of stations. Download the Mundu Radio program, also enter your username and password into it. Load the list of stations you have created into the program using the menu item called "Load playlist". First select a genre from the list, and then a station, and then start listening to it.
