Usually a tape recorder is connected to a computer in search of a cleaner sound in its amplification or in order to transfer sound from a tape recorder to a computer. Naturally, tape cassettes lose their quality over time, the sound on them begins to hiss, or even disappear altogether, and in this case the computer is an indispensable assistant for restoring and saving a favorite or very necessary recording. It is also much more convenient to use a computer than a tape recorder.
