Step 1
First, decide what kind of premises you need to protect from penetration. Although, with the help of sensors, they usually block all possible ways of entering the room, and the room itself. There are several types of sensors that respond to different actions - movement, opening doors or breaking glass, etc.
Step 2
Connect the selected sensors to the alarm control panel or control panel. Do this with a cable (loop). There are, of course, wireless alarms, but they are more expensive, so we will consider using the example of a conventional standard security system.
Step 3
Install additional internal grilles. This will help protect the protected area from burglary and entry. The presence of physical barriers is mandatory, as they can put intruders in a difficult situation, and the alarm will already have time to go off.
Step 4
To activate the alarm, enter the code on the keypad to make the control panel active. You will leave the premises, and the control panel will monitor the operation of the sensors. When triggered, the control panel will enter the alarm state and signal an unauthorized visitor with a siren. Further, either a capture group arrives, or the alarm system simply scares off intruders, drawing attention to the object.
Step 5
To deactivate the alarm while you are in the room, enter the deactivation code on the keypad. If the code is correct, the alarm goes into standby mode. If the code is entered incorrectly, the correct entry must be made, otherwise the alarm siren will sound. Installation is carried out according to the instructions supplied with the alarm and sensors, so self-installation with minimal knowledge and skills will not be difficult.
