Necessary

  • - Jet printer;
  • - cartridges;
  • - ink for cartridges.

Instructions

Step 1

You can use the services of the relevant office and pay for refilling cartridges, but it is more economical to buy a special set in the store. There are several options here - buy a gas station, but this is convenient if you are engaged in constant printing, for example, of photographs. In other cases, a more economical method will work, for which you will need a large syringe (5 ml or more), special ink, napkins, old newspapers and scotch tape.

Step 2

Check your cartridge model. Find the relevant information on the device itself, or in the instructions for the printer. Buy ink - these are bottles of liquid of different colors inside. Find out if they work with your printer. Check the label or consult your dealer.

Step 3

Next, start refilling the cartridges, remove them from the printer. Take a bottle of the corresponding color, draw ink into a syringe. Then remove the sticker from the cartridge, you will see holes. Insert a syringe with a needle into all holes one by one, watch the filling of the cartridge.

Step 4

Wipe the device with a tissue without touching the nozzle. Usually, excess ink flows from them. Cover the holes with tape and replace the removed sticker. If ink continues to flow out of the nozzle, leave the cartridge on the newspaper. You've probably used more ink than you need. Remove excess with a cotton swab, be careful.

Step 5

If you are refilling color cartridges, use a separate syringe for each. Please note that refueling is better tolerated by cartridges with a foam sponge, which absorbs excess ink. Pay enough attention to consumables. Refill the cartridges before they run out of original ink.

Step 6

If you installed a refilled cartridge in the printer, run a printhead cleaning. Print a test sheet and evaluate the print quality, repeat the procedure if necessary.

Step 7

If air bubbles form inside the cartridge during refilling, they may interfere with printing. Take the cartridge, tap its side several times, make the air bubble disappear or move.
