Necessary

  • 1. Phone with memory card,
  • 2.cord for connecting the phone to a computer or bluetooth,
  • 3.card reader.

Instructions

Step 1

Transferring files from a phone to a USB flash drive is not always easy and convenient, but sometimes it is just necessary to do it in order to leave space in the phone for other information. In the event that you need to transfer a photo or a music file to a USB flash drive, you can do this by selecting it in the list of files, but without opening it. Set the selection on the file you need and click the "Properties" button or another similar (depending on your phone model). Select the "move" function in the tab that appears, then in the window that opens - "move the selected". You will be prompted to save the file in your phone or on a memory card, select “memory card”. The file will be moved to the USB stick.

Step 2

If the file is large or your phone does not support moving files to a USB flash drive, and when you select it in the properties, you do not find an opportunity to move the file to the memory card, then it will be a little more difficult to drop the file to the USB flash drive. You will need a card reader - a device for reading flash drives on a computer, as well as a connection between the phone and a computer - a cord or Bluetooth. Connect the phone to the computer and copy the file from the phone memory to the computer. This can be done by opening the phone folder on the computer and dragging the file you need into one of the computer folders with the mouse.

Step 3

Remove the memory card from your phone and insert it into the card reader. Using the file manager, find the file in the computer's memory and move it to your memory card.

Step 4

Insert the memory card back into your phone and make sure it works, check if the file you want opens. If everything is in order, you can delete the file from the phone and computer memory, leaving it only on the USB flash drive - which is what you needed.
