Now the sizes of these media can be from very small - smaller than a matchbox, to the size of a regular computer hard drive. The possibilities of flash drives are no longer limited today: to its advantages, in addition to its small size, you can add a large amount of disk space, as well as support for a fast USB 2.0 connection.

Step 1
Programs that can be installed on a flash drive in the same way as on a hard drive are divided into 2 categories: full-fledged programs and portable versions of the program. Each category of these programs has both pros and cons, but the overall result will be the same. Therefore, you have to choose which view you want to use.
Step 2
Installing a complete program. The phrase "full-fledged program" means its installation on a media (in our case, a flash) and installation, in which the program launch paths, settings and other data are written in the registry of your operating system. Let's move on to the installation itself. Installation begins by launching the main program file, most often called "setup.exe". After starting the installation file, a window will appear in which you need to select the option to install the program (specify the path on the USB flash drive, the size of the version to be installed, etc.). In the last window, click done. Often the software developer automatically includes the "Run Program" option at the end of the installation. If this option is checked in the last window, then after clicking the "Finish" button ("Exit", "Finish", "Exit").
Step 3
The installation version is most often a single file containing all the files. If your Portable version of the program includes subfolders and other files, you don't need to install them anyway. Copy the program folder to the program directory on your USB flash drive, then bring the shortcut to your desktop.
