No matter how large the physical memory of your camera, sooner or later it will be filled with video and still images. You will need to clean it up and transfer everything you removed to your computer's hard drive. We need a special cable and software. All this is included in the camera kit. How to connect the camera to the computer?
Instructions
Step 1
Insert the supplied cable into the camera. If the camera has a PC connection mode, activate it.
Step 2
Find the included USB cable and plug it into any available USB port on your computer. This port is found on the front or back of any modern personal desktop computer, sometimes even both. For laptops, the USB ports can be located on the side or on the back.
Step 3
After connecting the cable to the computer, the operating system will begin to recognize the newly connected device and launch the Found New Hardware Wizard. If the system asks for an installation disc, then into the CD-ROM insert the disc that came with your camera, which says "USB Driver". The installation will take less than a minute, confirm its completion by clicking the "Finish" button in the final window of the installation wizard.
Step 4
After that, a new window will appear on the screen, which will offer options for actions with your camera. Thus it will be identified as a new "removable disk". We recommend that you copy the images immediately and save them to a new or existing folder on your PC's hard drive.
