The Windows 7 operating system allows you to restrict the user's rights to run certain programs, games, and to turn on the computer itself. This feature is implemented using the "Parental Control" function. This feature allows you to set three ways to restrict access - launching games, launching specific applications, and time limit.
Instructions
Step 1
Open "Control Panel" and select "Add or Remove Accounts", specify a name, select "General Access" and click the "Create Account" button.
Step 2
Open the created user account and select Set Parental Controls, and then select the created user account again. The settings window will open.
Step 3
To limit the user by time, click on the "Off." opposite the line "Time limits". In the window that opens, specify the time intervals during which the login will be denied by this user, and click OK.
Step 4
You can deny access to games by limiting them by category. Click "Off" opposite the line "Categories of games". In the window that opens, enter the necessary settings for restricting access and click OK.
Step 5
You can restrict access to certain programs (not just games) by clicking "Off." opposite the line "Restriction on launching programs". A list of all programs installed on the computer will open. Select the ones you want to deny access and click OK.
