Types of LED luminaires
All devices manufactured by enterprises can be divided into the following groups:
- Work equipment. Lamps of this type are installed inside factories, laboratories and other facilities.
- Emergency lighting. It is used in workshops that require constant monitoring, even outside working hours.
- Emergency lights. They turn on when a number of conditions are met. For example, in cases where the main power supply is disconnected.
- Security lighting devices are installed along the perimeter of construction sites, parking lots and other facilities.
There are different ways to mount devices. They can be located on walls, close to the object. Swivel models are in demand, which give a directed beam of light.
Ceiling mounted on ceilings, they are also installed on the ceiling of the premises. Most often, fixation is carried out on a metal structure, but an option is possible based on fastening products to the ceiling using slings. In the latter case, the luminaires are positioned at a predetermined height. It is chosen taking into account the norms, and focusing on the required power of the light flux.
Manufacturers produce built-in models, but they are mounted in place only after the finishing of the sites is completed. Surface mounted devices are suitable for different objects, such products do not require permanent installation. In rooms in which there is a high probability of an explosion, products with a reinforced housing are mounted. They differ in that all structural elements are tightly connected, which is reliable protection against sparks.

Nichia Corporation, a Japanese company, is considered the industry leader. Lamps manufactured for industrial premises are distinguished by their quality and durability. They are protected from moisture, dust does not get into them, so they are placed in parking lots, in swimming pools and in warehouses. The products are in demand among organizations that decide not to save on lighting fixtures. Another manufacturer is OSRAM, whose products are of high quality and affordable cost.
Russian enterprises also produce LED lamps, these are Optogan, Focus, Planar-Svetotekhnika. They make products for tough conditions. Models can be mounted in pools, rooms with high humidity. Organizations are constantly improving designs to offer consumers reliable lighting fixtures.
