Step 1
A product such as a sound card is responsible for transmitting sound to the computer. It is equipped with a series of connectors to which various devices (speakers, microphone, subwoofer, speaker system, etc.) can be connected. You can see these connectors on the back of your computer. Each nest has a different color. This makes connecting devices the most convenient (if you notice, the plug of the connected device also has a certain color).
Step 2
To connect the sub to a personal computer, you need to do the following. Plug the subwoofer into a power outlet, then turn the switch of the device to the "ON" position. Now you need to connect all the speakers that come with the kit to the subwoofer. After connecting the speakers, you only need to perform one action - insert the subwoofer plug (output) into the jack on the sound card, which will match the color of the plug. If there is no matching socket, plug the plug into any other socket on the card.
Step 3
After the subwoofer output is connected to the jack on the sound card, the operating system will automatically display a dialog box (sound card agent). In this window, you will see the following connection options: "Out to side speakers", "Out to center channel / subwoofer", "Out to rear speakers", "Line out", "Headphones", "Mic in", and "Line out" entrance". Check the box next to Center / Subwoofer Output and save your changes. This way, you will be able to connect the subwoofer to your computer with the correct setup.
