If you have a high-powered speaker, you can use it more efficiently by using your imagination and spending a certain amount of time. The result is a more powerful speaker system - a subwoofer.

Step 1
First, make a body for the future sub. To do this, you can use cardboard boxes or pieces of plywood of various sizes. Place your speaker on cardboard or plywood and trace around all sides of the speaker with a marker.

Cut along the outlined contour of the blank for the body.

Fasten the plywood parts to each other with screws, tie the cardboard parts with ropes at the corners.
Step 4
Place your speaker into the resulting enclosure. There should be no gaps between the speaker and the walls of the cabinet, otherwise there will be an air cushion in them, which can interfere with the sound saturation.
Step 5
Remove the speaker from the case and cut two holes in it. One is in the front for the air outlet, and the second is in the back for the wires that will come out of the case. Make the first hole to fit the speaker's speakers.
Step 6
Create insulation inside the enclosure. To do this, glue it from the inside with insulating material, for example, felt. Seal seams and folds with tape or tape.
Step 7
Now place the speaker back into the enclosure. Attention, now you have to go through a key moment in the manufacture of a subwoofer. Wind the wires from the speaker into a tight bundle, bring them out through the prepared hole and connect to the acoustics. To do this, find the contacts responsible for the power of the speaker, and solder the wires from the resulting subwoofer.
Step 8
If you want to enhance your new sub, then build an amplifier inside its body. It is best to screw it on with screws and a screwdriver. Don't forget to insulate the holes.
Step 9
Now paint the sub with whatever color you like best. Metallic subwoofers look very impressive. Usually, ordinary paint is enough for this, for example, "silver paint". The sub is ready. If you did everything carefully, you will end up with a very decent sound. Place your new loudspeaker away from walls to avoid generating strong vibrations and refracting sound from obstacles.
