Observe some safety precautions. Dress in cotton or other clothing that cannot build up an electrostatic charge. Before disassembling the laser, hold on to the radiator in your apartment or any other massive metal object for a few seconds to get rid of any residual electricity that may have accumulated in your body. All this is necessary in order not to damage the laser diode.
Step 2
Take the laser, remove the cover. Remove the batteries from it and set them aside. Then inspect the laser housing. There must be a special insulating film inside - an insulating cylinder. Take it out. Remove the tip from the laser, then take the thread gauge. You will need it to measure the thread pitch on the laser head where the attachments are screwed on.
Step 3
If there is no thread gauge and nowhere to get it, take as many different nuts of a suitable diameter as possible. pick up the nuts until you find one that would screw onto the seat of the laser nozzle. Take a small piece of soft cloth. It should be enough to wrap the laser pointer several times. Then clamp the laser in a vise with the thread facing up. Do not grip too hard to avoid damaging the case.
Step 4
Take the nut that comes up. You will need it now to disassemble the laser pointer. Screw the nut onto the thread. Take PLIERS. Tighten it until the emitter comes out of the housing. Please note that under no circumstances should it be skewed when screwing in, because this could damage the emitter. The laser is disassembled.
Step 5
Now, if you wish, you can use an additional resistor and more powerful batteries to increase the brightness of the laser, reduce power consumption, etc. Pay attention to the laser diode. If it is installed in a pointer body without an additional enclosure, use extreme caution as it can be damaged quite easily.
