The modern mobile phone has long been used not only to make calls. In the hands of an experienced user, it can turn into a camera, a miniature computer with Internet access. And more recently, the phone has become possible to use as a TV.

Step 1
To use a mobile phone that is not equipped with either an analog TV tuner or a DVB-H standard radio channel as a TV, use the Video Portal service. It is provided by Beeline and Megafon operators in most regions of Russia. First, make sure that the phone is compatible with a special program, without which it is impossible to receive transmissions. Then correctly configure the access point (APN), otherwise data transmission will be charged. Remember that outside the home region it will be charged anyway, and abroad it will also be charged at higher rates and on credit. Then activate the service, and, if desired, additional packages. Both are provided for a small monthly fee. Download the app and start watching TV.
Step 2
If you are a Beeline subscriber of the Moscow region and live within the Moscow Ring Road, change your phone to a special one equipped with a DVB-H radio path. Go to the operator's office and change the SIM-card to a new one that supports decoding of digital video stream, then activate the "Mobile TV" service. So far, there is no subscription fee for it, but they plan to introduce it in the future (perhaps, by the time you read this article, the service will have time to become paid). Traffic is not consumed when using it (it does not work via the Internet), but once you leave the Moscow Ring Road, the reception will stop.
Step 3
Conventional analogue TV shows can be watched on some fake phones. You can distinguish them from others by the presence of a huge antenna. But any fake devices often break down very quickly, so it is not recommended to purchase them. Therefore, try to get a branded phone with a built-in analog tuner. There are few such models. So, in the past, a device with this function was produced by HTC, but now it is already a rarity. Today, several models of Fly phones are available with this function. Their advantage is the built-in antenna, the disadvantages are the lack of smartphone functionality and a small screen.
