Step 1
Configure the drive to burn discs for the console. In this case, it is necessary that the drive set the bitsetting for the discs. If your drive is a Pioneer 109, you can skip this step. Check the booktype using the DVDInfo application, which can be downloaded from

Install and run the program, then at the bottom of the program window select your drive and press the + RW button. Select DVD-ROM, click on the Set Default DL button. Click OK and exit the program. If an error message appears stating that the drive does not support bitsetting; you need to reflash it. You can download the unofficial firmware from the site

Use the CloneCD burning application to burn a disc for Xbox. Launch the application, select the Write from ImageFile option, then click the Browse button, locate the folder on your computer that contains the game image. Select from it a file with the *.dvd extension. The name of this file can be anything, for example, Image.dvd. Click the Open button to add the image to the program and burn the Xbox game.
Step 4
Click "Next" after choosing a game image. Select the disc burning speed for your Xbox. The time spent on the burn will be between twenty and forty minutes and will depend on the selected speed value. It is recommended to select the speed 2, 4x. Keep in mind that the smaller it is, the less errors can occur during writing and, therefore, the readability of discs in the drive in the set-top box will be much better. Click "OK" and wait for the burn to complete.
