If you first became the owner of an iPad tablet computer, then you will probably have to face such a procedure as activating the device. The iPad comes to the buyer with a charged battery, and all that is needed is to take the tablet out of the box and press the power button.

Instructions
Step 1
Press the power button located on the top of the device. When you turn on the tablet for the first time, you are greeted by a start screen with a large iPad inscription, the screen will also have an unlock slider, as well as inscriptions in various languages of the world.

Next, you will be prompted to select a language from the list. Click on the "Russian language" item. The entire tablet interface will now be displayed in the language of your choice.
Step 3
Once you have selected your language, you will be prompted to indicate your host country. Select a country from the list by clicking on its name.

The next step is to enable the geolocation service. This feature allows the tablet to determine its current location. In addition, if this feature is enabled, then some of the iPad settings will be set automatically.
Step 5
Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network. To do this, select an available network from the list. The process is about the same as on other devices, be it a phone or a tablet. If no Wi-Fi networks are available, you will be prompted to connect to iTunes.
Step 6
In the initial settings, you will have three options available:
- set up iPad like new. In this case, the default settings for the first start-up will be set. Select this option if this is your first iPad.
- recovery from the cloud service iCloud. If you have an AppleID, you can restore all available settings and purchases, regardless of whether they were made on another iPad or iPhone. Everything will be downloaded from the Internet automatically.
- recovery via iTunes. The procedure is similar to the one described above, with the only difference that you need a cable connection to a computer with iTunes installed on it, on which you backed up from your previous device.
Step 7
You will now be asked to enter your AppleID. It will arise regardless of which of the above methods you have used. If you do not have an AppleID, you can create one right away, or you can create one later by skipping this step.
Step 8
Read the license agreement. You will need to accept it for further device settings.
Step 9
iCloud. If you created an AppleID or used an existing one, you will be prompted to use the iCloud cloud service. If you have already restored your data via iTunes or iCloud, then you can skip this step.
Step 10
You can now start creating a backup to iTunes or iCloud of your choice, or you can skip this step.
Step 11
Find iPad is a function that allows you to find your tablet via the Internet or other Apple devices. This feature is optional and you can choose to enable it.
Step 12
Diagnostics & Usage automatically sends data to Apple about potential tablet failures and usage.
Step 13
The last window of settings will be the window with the button "Start using". Click on it.
Step 14
Your iPad is now ready to go.
