To get a high quality satellite TV picture, you should have a well tuned satellite dish, good cable, receiver, TV and parameters for tuning transponders. Depending on the TV receiver, the picture on it can be either just in digital format or in HD.
It is necessary
satellite tuner (receiver)
Instructions
Step 1
Connect the satellite dish to the satellite receiver. To do this, take a coaxial cable, strip it, screw the F-connectors onto the ends and connect the converter to the tuner through the LBNin input. Be careful, at this moment the receiver must be disconnected from the 220 V mains, pull the plug out of the socket.
Step 2
Connect your satellite tuner to your TV. To do this, connect any of the receiver's connectors - scart, tulips, antenna output, HDMI with the one available on the TV receiver. After connecting, select any convenient channel, now you will switch between programs on it using the tuner remote control. Select in manual mode - channel search, the satellite receiver must be turned on and a number, not a clock, must be lit on its display. Store the channel on your TV.
Step 3
Set the satellite tuner to receive the signal from the transponders of the selected satellite or satellite group. Press the "Menu" button, then "antenna" or "setting", select the corresponding satellite, if it is not there - enter manually and set the values on the DiSEqC items, positioner, LNB, 0 / 12V, tone flash. For example, for a linear universal LNB converter, the local oscillator frequency is 9750/10600, for circular - 10750, for C-BAND range - 5150. These technical characteristics are printed on the label of the satellite head.
Step 4
Select the desired satellite in the menu, set DiSEqC for it. The most common connection option for multiple satellites is a 4-port switch. When connecting satellite converters to the DiSEqC switch, mark to which inputs each of them was connected. In the menu of the satellite receiver, set the ports of the DiSEqC switch according to the connected satellite heads. Or customize each satellite separately.
Step 5
Add the desired channel on the satellite receiver. To do this, you need to configure transponders and scan them. You can define the required parameters on the sites www.lyngsat.com or www.flysat.com. Then enter them in the satellite transponder menu and press the "scan" button. Save the received channels, do this operation twice a month, as satellites can change positions. If the channel is not found, then it may be either an antenna that is poorly tuned for reception, or the transponder parameters have changed. List the updated settings for the desired satellite and scan it again.
