Of course, a flash is an important thing on a hobbyist's camera. Some professionals (unless, of course, they do not work in a studio) prefer not to use it. You, too, can find yourself in an environment where the flash only spoils the footage. How to remove it?
Instructions
Step 1
If you have a regular digital camera. The flash is removed in the settings. Sometimes there is even a dedicated button for this. Can't find it? Refer to the instruction manual of your camera model. If this is not possible and the unit continues to shoot with the flash, turn off the auto mode. You can shoot in manual mode, but then you will have to adjust the light parameters yourself. If you are unfamiliar with this, it is best not to risk your staff, but to learn later. Your camera probably has a flashless mode - it's necessary for shooting in museums and similar places.
Step 2
If you have a DSLR or an advanced digital camera with a pop-up flash, the task is easier. However, one more problem may arise - how to close the flash. On most models, it is simply retracted with a slight downward movement of the hand. The shooting mode without flash is for sure present - and turn it on. True, the owners of such a camera should be able to independently set the settings in manual mode. The latter are designated on the camera as "A", "M", "P".
Step 3
Want to shoot in auto mode? Examine the camera settings. In the menu, there is definitely an item on the flash. You need to disable Auto Flash or Auto Flash On. In some models, the flash settings are opened by pressing the button with the lightning bolt.
Step 4
What if the photo has already been taken, and only now it became clear that the flash here was clearly out of place? Get rid of the consequences. Use a graphics editor. The best thing, of course, is to choose Photoshop. The latter, CS5, has a function to remove flash glare. In earlier models, the methods can be very different. You can find lessons on the Internet. To remove red-eye, which also occurs when shooting with flash, a special tool is available in all versions of Photoshop.
