You can update the software on the LCD TV yourself. You must first download the firmware file from the manufacturer's official website, and then upload it to the TV. The procedure does not require special skills and is designed in order not to violate the warranty.

Instructions
Step 1
Launch a web browser on your computer. Go to the website of the TV manufacturer. Select the "Support" section on the website.
Step 2
Select your TV's name and model number from the Download Firmware menu on the web page tab.
Step 3
Right click on the most recent firmware updates that appear from the drop down menu. Select the "Save As" option from the pop-up menu. In the window that appears, click on the "Save" button. Wait for the update file to download to your computer.
Step 4
Insert your flash drive into a USB port on your computer. Wait for the USB flash drive icon to appear on the desktop.
Step 5
Double click on the firmware update file once downloaded to unzip it. Double click on the program to run. Follow the instructions to install the firmware on the USB stick.
Step 6
Right click on the USB flash drive icon. Select the Check Out option from the pop-up menu. Remove the USB flash drive from your computer.
Step 7
Insert the USB stick into the TV's USB port. This port will be below the screen, on the left or right side, or on the back.
Step 8
Turn on your TV. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control. Go to the "Settings" section. From this section, select an option like "Update" or "Service". Select USB from the list of options provided.
Step 9
Select the "Start" or "Start Firmware Update" option. Wait for the TV to update the firmware using the file from the flash drive.
Step 10
After updating, remove the USB stick from the USB port.
