A camera memory card, or flash card, is a thin plate that stores captured images. There are cards with memory capacities from 32 MB to 32 GB and above. There is a locking mechanism in the card device that prevents new images from being written and old images copied. You need to remove the lock using a special lever on the card itself.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the card from the camera. Pay attention to the side planes. One of them has a small lever, like the one marked in the illustration.
Step 2
A locked card has the lever in the “Lock” position. Move it up or down along the map to change position.
Step 3
The memory card is unlocked. Insert it back into the camera and continue working.
