Step 1
The easiest way to find out the release date of a phone is to look at the documents for it. Find your warranty card or receipt. There, the date when you made this purchase will be indicated without fail.
Step 2
If the documents are lost, proceed differently: dial * # 0000 # from your mobile number. A dialog message appears on the screen. The first line is the phone model, the second is the release version, and then the date you need. But it is worth considering that if you did the firmware on your phone, then after dialing the number, the date will appear when you made the update for the last time.
Step 3
If you have a Sony Ericsson phone, the release date is easy to find. Open the back cover and remove the battery. On its surface, find a line in which a number is written in the format 00W00 (for example, 06W21 - 2006, 21 weeks).
Step 4
If you have a Nokia mobile brand, then to find out the production date, proceed as follows: turn off the phone and remove the sim card. Then put it back in the nest. After restarting the phone, the program, after loading, will prompt you to enter the current date and time. You will see the default date - this is the date when your mobile was discontinued.
Step 5
If you have a smartphone, then here you need to type a different command than the one indicated in the first step. In this case, you need to write * # 06 # and the imei of your mobile will appear on the screen, among the data of which the release date will be contained.
