Air conditioner today is perhaps an integral part of the interior of any office, house, apartment. It allows you to maintain the optimal climatic conditions in the room, which are necessary for human life in different seasons of the year. As a rule, air conditioning systems are turned on using a special remote control, but there are times when, at the right moment, this very remote control is not at hand.
Instructions
Step 1
Inspect the air conditioner carefully and check if wiring is available for it. There are cases that when leaving offices, the old owners leave only the box in the room, and the necessary wires are withdrawn or torn. If you are sure that your air conditioner is fully functional, do the following.
Step 2
Examine the front of the air conditioner panel. Find a small, straight plastic cover just below the curtains of the unit to match the air conditioner itself. Take it from both sides (on different sides) with your fingers and lift it gently to the top. To do this, you need to slightly press on it and pull it up.
Step 3
Examine the panel under the raised cover and find the button there. The button, depending on the model and manufacturer, can be located on the right and left. It often has a backlight indicator. If there is a backlight, then when the air conditioner is working, it will glow green or orange. Under the button, as a rule, there is also an inscription either on off or operation.
Step 4
Press the detected button and hold it for a few seconds. The air conditioner should work. Check what air is blowing out of the curtains. If it is cold, but you want a warm one, press the button again, but do not hold it with your finger.
Step 5
You should be aware that using the front panel of the air conditioner, you can turn on the device only in automatic mode, but to change the temperature, you need a remote control.
