Dialing a number when calling abroad often causes difficulties, mainly associated with the procedure for accessing an international line and dialing country telephone codes. How, for example, to dial a number to Ukraine from a mobile or landline phone?
Instructions
Step 1
In order to call any Ukrainian city from a landline phone in Russia, you need to know not only the subscriber's number, but also the city code to which you are calling. Please note that the number written in the format (area code) subscriber number must be a sum of ten digits. For example, when calling to Kiev, this is a three-digit code and a seven-digit number, and when calling to Feodosia or Evpatoria, it is a five-digit code and a five-digit number.
Step 2
Pick up the handset, dial 8 (long distance access), and if you are not calling from a digital PBX, wait for a long dial tone. Then dial "10" (access to the international line) and "38" - the code of Ukraine. After that, dial the area code and the number of the called subscriber. Thus, the dialing order looks like this: 8 - 10 -38 - (code) - (phone number). If you call a mobile phone - after dialing the international code, you dial the ten-digit number of the subscriber.
Step 3
If you need a mobile phone, then the procedure is slightly simplified: you do not need to dial the intercity and international access codes. It is enough to dial the country code: + 38 (do not forget about the "plus" in front of the code - this is a must!) And a ten-digit number.
