Use a mobile assistant. Dial 0890 on the keypad and contact the subscriber service. Wait for the allotted time and tell the operator about your desire to turn off the Internet. Cancellation of the service is completely free.
Step 2
If you do not want to communicate with company representatives, it will be enough to delete or change the connection settings in your phone. Remember which letters have been removed or added. The connection will be disconnected, and if you need it again, simply restore the settings. During the time that you did not go online, you will not be charged.
Step 3
If you use the “BIT” tariff for connection, send an SMS message with the text 9950 to number 111. If your tariff is “Super BIT”, you need to send 6280 to the same number. This is enough to turn off the mobile Internet.
Step 4
Contact the service center and declare your desire to cancel the service. MTS provides its customers with additional paid features that are not always necessary for you. For example, it often happens that a subscriber does not need unlimited traffic for 9 rubles a day, but until he refuses the service, money will be charged. Ask for a list of all the options for your SIM card, and most likely you will find a lot that is superfluous. Please take your passport with you to carry out any transactions.
Step 5
If you use the Internet via a mobile modem, contact the service center and block the SIM card if you do not need a modem for regular telephone calls. If this is not done, a debt may form on the SIM card, which you will then have to pay. Recently, however, MTS has begun to block modems when the balance reaches -300 rubles. But it is still better to find out all such points in advance in order to avoid problems later.
