Step 1
If you are a Megafon subscriber, you can disable the Mobile Mail service depending on how you activated it. So if you connected it via the SMS interface, then to deactivate it you need to send a message to the short number 5040 with the text stop. If via the WAP interface, then you first have to log in to the WAP portal of this service (https://www.mail.megafonpro.ru/messaging_as/xhtml), then select the Settings tab in the main menu, then the Disable service ". Deactivation via the WEB-interface will require authorization on the website https://www.mail.megafonpro.ru, following the "Settings" link to the "Unsubscribe" tab. Confirm your request by selecting "Yes" and the "Mobile Mail" service will be disabled.
Step 2
If your phone is connected to "Beeline", then in order to deactivate the "Mobile mail" service, send the command SIM ON-POSTANASMS NO to 784. Or take the phone and call the free number 06849909 (by the way, the same as to activate the service). After disconnecting "Mobile mail" you will receive an SMS notification. From this moment, if someone decides to send you a letter directly to the phone, he will receive an SMS in response: "Delivery is impossible."
Step 3
If you are an MTS subscriber, then to deactivate the Mobile Mail service, you will only need to remove this application from your phone. To resume using the service, send an SMS-message to the short number 7775 to get the link to download the application again.
Step 4
Go to your email to check if this service is deactivated. Select the "Settings" section in the menu, then - the "SMS-notifications" tab (or similar). Uncheck the box next to "Notify me about new mail" and click "Save" to activate the changes.
