Instructions

Step 1

If you have a Nokia Series40 phone, use one of the following methods to remove themes. The first is to use the mobile device interface itself. Go to the menu, select the "Gallery" item, open the "Themes" folder. Find the one you want to remove and select Options -> Remove. Note that standard files cannot be deleted. If the themes are located on a flash drive, in the "Gallery" open the item "Memory card", find the desired theme and delete.

Step 2

To uninstall themes from a Series40 phone using the second method, connect it to your computer. To do this, use a USB cable, one end of which is connected to the system unit and the other to the mobile device. Select Nokia Mode on your phone to connect. Then open "My Computer", select Nokia Phone Browser (for this you must have installed Nokia PC Suite or OVI PC Suite). Find the theme you want and delete it.

Step 3

If the theme files are located on a memory card, you can select the "Save data" mode when you connect your phone to a computer. It does not require Nokia PC Suite to work, you can work with the memory card as with a regular flash drive.

Step 4

In Nokia Series60-based phones (smartphones), themes can be removed through the Application Manager item in the phone menu. Open it, select the theme you want and delete it.

Step 5

In some cases, the Application Manager may not work correctly. To delete themes saved on your memory card, connect your phone to your computer. Enable Windows to view the contents of hidden folders. To do this, open any directory and in the panel select "Tools" -> "Folder options" -> "View" -> "Show hidden files". Next, open the removable disk in My Computer (this is the flash drive of the connected phone) and find the private10207114import folder. Find the theme files and delete them.

Step 6

To delete themes stored in your phone, do a factory reset. Dial * # 7370 # and, if required, enter the code 12345. After that, themes and all data (including contacts, photos, messages) will be deleted from the phone's memory, so make a backup copy of them before that.
