If your smartphone has a combined slot, then most likely it allows you to use either two SIM cards at the same time, or one SIM card and one micro SD memory card. But still there is an option of how to use your smartphone at full capacity - two SIM cards and a memory card.
It is necessary
- - a smartphone with a combined slot for SIM-cards and memory cards;
- - two SIM cards;
- - micro SD flash memory card;
- - scissors;
- - lighter;
- - tweezers;
- - PVA glue or superglue;
- - transparent tape.
Instructions
Step 1
First, you need to mark the contact on the corner of the SIM card that is cut in some way. I suggest scraping it a little with tweezers so you can distinguish it from the rest. We need this because we will get rid of the plastic case of the card.
It is also advisable to photograph your SIM cards in their places, above and below, where their contact pads are visible.
Step 2
In order to remove the plastic case of the SIM card (and thus gain some space), you need to heat it over the flame of a candle or lighter. You do not need to be zealous, because When heated, the plastic is perfectly separated from the base, exposing the electronic heart of the SIM card.
Step 3
Now we need to win some more space. To do this, you need to reduce the thickness of the micro SD card. We grind it with sandpaper. Be careful not to damage the inner layers. In principle, it is enough to remove the protruding part and slightly, by 0, 1-0, 2 mm, remove the thickness from the side opposite from the contacts. Theoretically, this should be enough to place a SIM card and a memory card in one slot. Note that the protruding part contains miniature resistors that need to be kept intact during the process.
Step 4
Now let's check that the SIM card and the flash drive fit in the same slot. Let's place the memory card as usual. Then put a SIM card in the same slot. Due to the fact that we removed its plastic case, it will move freely over the surface of the memory card. Therefore, it should be fixed with glue. The corner that we marked should be facing the same direction as the corner of the second SIM card. The location of the SIM card should correspond as closely as possible to the location in which it was located before all operations. To do this, you can use the photo that we took in the 1st step.
Step 5
After the SIM card is stuck, let's try to insert our design into the smartphone slot. Most likely, it will enter more tightly than usual. If it's too tight, try making the memory card thinner a little more. You can grind it off from the other side. If, when you inserted the "Frankenstein" into the slot, the memory card is not visible, then perhaps its contacts do not fit snugly enough to the contacts of the smartphone. You can put something under them from the back side to press it tighter. If there is no mobile network, then most likely you have not guessed with the location of the SIM card. We'll have to take everything out and re-position it.
Step 6
In general, depending on the smartphone model, the device of the slot may vary, and specifically for your case you need to act individually. These are just the most general guidelines that are suitable for everyone. If everything went well, then you can use both SIM-cards and also a memory card in your smartphone.
