Step 1
If your phone does not have a network defined, first of all, establish the reason for these circumstances. This happens when you are out of the operator's service area of your SIM card, when it is not used for a long time, or when the operator or phone malfunctions. If you have not used your SIM card for a long period of time (for Megafon - 3 months, for Beeline and MTS - 6 months), it is quite possible that the number was written off from your name in the system and it will be problematic to restore it or completely impossible if it is already busy with another subscriber.
Step 2
If the network in your phone is not detected due to malfunctions, reboot the phone, or best of all, turn it off and check if the SIM card is installed correctly in the corresponding compartment of your phone. After switching on, automatic scanning and detection of the active network will start.
Step 3
If it is still not found, please manually search for it. To do this, go to the menu of your phone and go to the search parameters, specifying the manual method. After a certain time of scanning the networks available in your location, the phone will give you a list of operators. Choose among them the one whose SIM card is in your phone.
Step 4
If the network is not detected by the above method, contact the operator to find out the causes of this problem. You can find out the technical support number of a mobile provider on its official website. You can also contact the company's service offices to find out and eliminate the causes of problems with network detection. It is also possible to do this at the points of sale of mobile phones that support the work with SIM cards of the cellular network operator serving you.
