Typically, the standard print settings provided by default when the printer is connected are sufficient to work with the printer. However, it may be necessary to change the settings. You can customize the printing of the printer by selecting the appropriate item in the settings of your computer. The suggested settings for different printers may have very different items, but, nevertheless, the general scheme of print adjustments is standard.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start -" Control Panel.

In the folder that opens, select Printers and Other Hardware.

From the suggested icons in the opened folder, select Printers and Faxes.
Step 4
Once opened, you will see all the printers and other printing devices on your computer. Select the one you want to configure.
Step 5
The print task pane will open on the left side of the window. Select Configure Print Settings.

A dialog box will open. It looks different for different printers, but the default starting suggestions are likely to be the orientation setting. Select the one you want from the "Location" tab.

Also from the list “Pages per sheet, you can select the required number of pages that will be printed on one sheet of paper.

You can change the order of the print direction in “Page Order. Check the box next to Start to End or End to Beginning. The choice of order will help to facilitate the convenience of assembling multi-page documents.

In the “Paper / Quality” tab, you can select the print quality for a certain type of paper. The print quality level depends on the dots per inch. Here, both numbers and options for quality levels can be used: low, medium, high. Here, you can also select the paper source from the Select Tray list.

If there are options, select the type of paper you are using.

Here you can also select the print mode (black and white or color) if the printer has color printing.

For other, more complex, settings, you can select the Advanced. All possible print settings can be changed here. Typically, this function is not used to set up printer printing for standard documents.
