Different models of music setup use different source pairing methods. Some of them are connected to secure wires, while others require the use of soldering.
Instructions
Step 1
To connect your music setup with built-in microphone, simply position it next to the sound source. This can be a TV, radio, player, telephone, stereo speaker, guitar or other musical instrument.
Step 2
If your music installation is designed to be connected in parallel to a speaker, the easiest way is to connect it to a music center. Use the clamps provided on the column for this. Make the connection with the device turned off. Connect the unit in parallel with the speaker, not in series with it. Make sure the contact is good. For devices with built-in speakers, such an installation will have to be soldered. If the device uses high voltages, or you are simply afraid to break it, and you yourself do not have the skills to repair radio equipment, ask a specialist to connect.
Step 3
The most convenient are the color music consoles equipped with built-in preamplifiers. They can be connected to the line-out of almost any audio device, if, of course, it has such an output. To do this, use an adapter cord equipped with plugs of the appropriate standard: DIN or RCA. If the line-out is busy, slightly modify the existing cable by connecting the set-top box in parallel to one of the channels. In this case, make all connections with de-energized equipment.
Step 4
Some high-power set-top boxes control lamps powered from the mains without a transformer. If your equipment is of this type, make sure it has an isolation transformer in the signal processing path.
Step 5
If desired, connect a microphone through a preamplifier to a color music installation with a line input. To a set-top box designed to connect to a speaker, connect a microphone through a low-power full amplifier to which the dummy load is connected.
