Repairing a Samsung mobile phone is often cheaper than buying a new one. Sometimes all that is required is a replacement battery, keyboard, or LCD screen. You can purchase these items for a low price from the online store.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn off your Samsung mobile phone by pressing the power button and wait until the screen turns off completely. If your machine is not working as expected, try replacing the battery first to see if it is causing the problem. Locate the battery cover on the back of the phone and remove it. Remove the old battery and replace with a new one.
Step 2
Try installing a new SIM card in your phone. The compartment for it is located in the form of a small slot on the side of the phone or in its back along with the battery. Remove the old SIM card and set it aside. Replace it with a new one, placing the metal part down in the slot. Replacing the SIM card can solve many of the problems associated with the software stuffing of the phone.
Step 3
Replace the keyboard and LCD screen of your cell phone. Place it face down, remove the battery cover and set it aside. Remove the battery and SIM card from the mobile phone. Remove all screws from the back of the Samsung device. This requires a small screwdriver.
Step 4
Use a flat plastic card to remove the back cover. Use your fingers to gently disconnect the cable leading to the LCD screen for the phone. Also, carefully detach the keyboard.
Step 5
Remove your phone's LCD screen and replace it with a new one. Take out the old keyboard and also replace it with a new one. Connect new parts to the phone board. Grasp the back cover with your fingers and press down firmly until you hear a click, indicating that it is in place. Run your hand over all surfaces to make sure everything is set up as it should.
Step 6
Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws on the back of the phone. Put the battery and SIM card back in place and replace the battery cover. Turn on your cell phone and test it to work.
