Nokia headsets are available in both wired and wireless. Usually both of them are included in the package of the mobile device, however, everything may depend on the model. They may also be sold separately.
Necessary
- - headset;
- - telephone.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have a regular Nokia wired headset, connect it to your mobile phone and, in the options displayed on the screen, select the “Headset” connection type if it does not install automatically.
Step 2
When using a Nokia wireless headset, make sure that both the headset and your mobile phone have sufficient battery power to support a Bluetooth conversation.
Step 3
Turn on the Bluetooth function on both devices, in the phone this is done in the connections menu, in the headset - by pressing and holding one of the buttons with the device activation icon. After that, start a search in the phone menu.
Step 4
Find your wireless headset in the list of available Bluetooth devices in range and pair with it in audio device or headset mode. However, on the Nokia headset itself, press and hold the connect button until a connection is established.
Step 5
Please note that you can also use a Nokia Wireless Headset to pair with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones from other manufacturers in the same steps as for Nokia devices.
Step 6
If you want to use a Nokia wired headset in other manufacturers' mobile phones, pay attention to the matching of the connectors. Even if the devices fit together, it is quite possible that their sharing will not be available.
Step 7
If you experience hearing problems when connecting a Nokia wired headset to your mobile device, press the large button on the microphone. If the voice of the other party is heard better when pressed, and when you release the button, the malfunction reappears, it is possible that you are using an incompatible headset. You need to replace it.
