Step 1
To connect a telephone set to a city automatic telephone exchange, leave a corresponding request at the office of the telephony service provider. Please note that such an application can only be left by a person registered in an apartment or house to which he wants to place a telephone, or have other documents that give him the right to make such changes in accordance with the law.
Step 2
Collect the necessary package of documents required to connect to the city automatic telephone network. You can familiarize yourself with it by looking at the relevant information on the official website of the company. Wait for the landline telephone installation specialists from the city telephone exchange to come to you. Please note that by that time you should already have a telephone set, or you will have to use the one offered by the service provider.
Step 3
If you already have a connection to a telephone exchange and you just need to connect a telephone to it, make sure that the shape of the telephone plug matches the wall socket. If this is not the case, obtain the correct adapter or plug from the hardware store. Connect the device to the telephone socket through the adapter and, if necessary, connect it to the power supply.
Step 4
If you want to replace the telephone socket, call a specialist specially for this, because if it is connected incorrectly, you can damage the structure. To install more than two devices to one automatic telephone exchange number, use a special adapter for several phones or replace the socket with one that supports this mode of connecting devices.
