Step 1
First, make sure your phone is running one of the operating systems: Android, iOS (Apple iPhone), Symbian, or Windows Phone. In addition, the phone must support 3G / HSDPA connection to the Internet, not just WAP and GPRS / EDGE.
Step 2
In the main settings of the phone, find the item "Network" and "jumper" or using the "on / off" key enable the use of your phone as a modem.

After that, in the same place, in the network settings, activate the mobile Internet so that your phone can exchange data with the global network.
Internet settings should be similar to those suggested by the operator. Use the APN access point, login and password that your mobile operator offers you. Detailed information on connection parameters can be found on the official website of your mobile operator.
Step 4
Now that the device is ready, using a proprietary USB cable, connect the phone to the computer. If you are using a communicator on Android, select the default connection type "Internet modem" in the PC connection settings.
If the computer notifies you that the operating system has found a new device and prompts you to download and / or install the modem driver, agree by clicking “OK” or “Agree”.
Step 5
The phone can notify you about the start of connection with a special notification or a bar on the screen, as does the Apple iPhone. Also, near the clock in the tray on the computer screen, you will see an image in the form of one monitor with an outlet (Windows Vista / 7) or two flashing monitors (Windows XP). This icon indicates that the Internet connection is established, you can open the browser and start browsing the web.
