Copying phonebook numbers from one mobile device to another can be done in several ways, including by connecting the devices to a computer.
Necessary
- - SIM card;
- - cables for connecting to a computer;
- - PC Suite distribution kit for your phone.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the menu of your phone book in the mobile device, select the contacts you need and go to the data management point. Choose to copy or move the selected items to the SIM card memory, depending on whether you want to leave them on your mobile device.
Step 2
Please note that with this method, some data is lost, such as, for example, additional contact attributes (email, home page, address, etc.), and the full name can be shortened to a certain number of characters, since memory is limited in SIM cards. Turn off the device, remove the card.
Step 3
Insert the SIM card with the contacts you need to copy or move to the mobile device in whose memory you want to overwrite them. Turn it on, go to the contacts management menu and select the option of copying or moving the previously selected elements of the phone book from the SIM card to the memory of the mobile device.
Step 4
Use an alternative method of transferring the elements of the phone book of a mobile device by connecting to a personal computer. Pair with the PC of the phone from which you want to copy data. For connection, you can use a connection using a USB interface or wireless Bluetooth.
Step 5
Synchronize data using the PC Suite program, which is usually supplied on a separate disk with the device, copy your phone book into the application, save the data as a file on your hard disk. Connect another mobile device to the phone, in the same way, pair the devices and through the PC Suite. In the phone book section, simply select adding a file with contacts and write them to the phone's memory, after which the information will be recorded in full.
