Today, you don't have to use a recording studio to record sounds on vinyl. Humanity's striving for progress is inexorable, so devices that can record on vinyl in real time from almost any media and even at home have appeared on the relatively free market.
Necessary
- - Sound reproducing device;
- - amplifier or mixer;
- - a device for recording vinyl records;
- - blanks of vinyl records;
- - connecting cables.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to record music, audiobooks or any other sounds on a vinyl record, you must have a sound reproducing device: a CD or MP3 player, an audio tape recorder, a turntable or a computer with a sound card, which contains the audio necessary for recording. You will also need a mixer or amplifier, and most importantly - a special device for recording on vinyl discs and blanks of vinyl discs.
Step 2
Connect your audio device to your amplifier or mixer at the jacks labeled "Inputs" or "Inputs".
Step 3
Connect your vinyl recorder to the amplifier sockets. The required connectors are usually labeled "Outputs", "Pre Out" or "Output".
Step 4
Insert your vinyl record into your recorder, and now you have all the tools you need to cut a record, coupled with the desire to record. All that remains is to record audio in real time, enjoying the sound of your favorite music.
Step 5
The cost of a vinyl recorder is high enough to buy it for home use (around $ 8,000). This equipment is suitable for professionals: DJ, sound engineers or for commercial use in a small recording studio. If you still need to record on a gramophone record, and the funds or the desire to buy a recording device are not enough, you should contact the studio for help, where it will cost relatively little money.
