The State Duma is preparing a decree forcing the people's proteges to sacrifice iPhone and iPad devices in favor of traditional mobile phones. Ordinary cell phones will only be used to make voice calls.
State Duma deputies may be left without iPhone and iPad. The draft order, forcing them to use ordinary telephones, which provide only telephone communication, was created by the deputy chairman of the Duma committee for security and the fight against corruption D. Gorovtsov from the Duma faction "Fair Russia".
Interfax reports the words of D. Gorovtsov, from which it follows that the deputy recommends the deputies to abandon not only Apple products, but also all imported smartphones without exception. According to him, first of all, the deputies who have access to confidential materials, as well as members of the security committee and the defense committee, are obliged to refuse from imported cellular communications.
“In principle, the lion's share of the deputies understands that the operation of the simplest cell phones, for 700 rubles, protects not only from the transmission of all monetary information, data from your mailbox, but also from wiretapping,” Gorovtsov said.
Recall that in March 2014, the government of our country categorically refused to use Apple tablets and iPads at meetings of the working cabinet and meetings in favor of Samsung Electronics devices.
At that time, the head of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications N. Nikiforov stated that Samsung tablets “are devices protected in a special way that can be used to process classified information. Some of the information at the meetings of the RF government is classified, and these devices are fully and fully suited to these requirements and have passed the most demanding certification system."
In addition to several cases of prohibition and voluntary refusal of government officials from Apple devices, a wave of bans on the operation of public online services in government institutions has spread across our country.
So, in June 2014 it became known that the institutions of state power and regional self-government of the Irkutsk region received an order from the plenipotentiary of the Siberian Federal District to abandon the use of online services that belong to Google.
In July, a Krasnoyarsk civil servant was banned from using the Google service and social networks Facebook and Twitter at work by a strict order from the mayor's office.
Finally, in August, Moscow officials were reminded of the unacceptability of using third-party online mail services, including Yandex. Pochta, Mail.ru and Gmail in their workplaces, regardless of whether they solve work or private issues.
