Step 1

Call the main menu of the mobile device by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Settings" item. Go to the "Connections" tab and open the link of the same name. Select the "Add a new modem connection" command in the "My ISP" group and type the name of your ISP in the appropriate line. Specify "Cellular GPRS line" in the "Select a modem" field and confirm the selected action by clicking the "Next" button.

Step 2

Enter the desired name in the "Access Point Name" line. Please note that this value is determined by the provider: internet.mts.ru - for MTS, internet.beeline.ru - for Beeline, etc. Confirm saving of the changes made by clicking the "Next" button. Type the provider's name in the "Username" line (mts - for MTS, beelline - for Beeline, etc.) and repeat it in the "Password" field. Leave the Domain line blank and click the Advanced button.

Step 3

Go to the "TCP / IP Protocol" tab in the dialog box that opens and apply the check box in the "Server assigns IP address" line. Clear the Use Software Compression and Compress IP Headers check boxes. Go to the "Servers" tab and apply the checkbox in the "Addresses assigned by server" box. Confirm the saving of the changes made by clicking the OK button and apply them by clicking the "Finish" button.

Step 4

Log on to the Internet. To do this, call the main menu by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Settings" item. Select the "Connections" tab of the dialog box that opens and open the link of the same name. Expand the "Manage existing connections" node in the "My ISP" group and click the link of the created connection. Continue to hold it down until a new submenu appears. Specify the "Connect" command in it and make sure the connection is established.
