In a noisy city, it is often more convenient not to read books yourself, but to listen to their audio versions. To do this, you can use a regular player or mobile phone, for example, an iPhone. However, there are some nuances of recording audiobooks into the popular Apple device.
Instructions
Step 1
First, download and install iTunes, which is required to download files to iPhone. Open a web browser, type https://www.apple.com in the address bar and press Enter. Click on the iPod link, then click on Download iTunes. On the next page, click on Download Now. Specify the location on your computer's hard drive to save the installation file. After the end of the process, double-click on the downloaded file and proceed with the installation. Launch iTunes and connect your iPhone to your computer.

Next, you have two options for recording audiobooks. The first is to upload them in.mp3 format, just like regular music compositions. The second option is to convert to a special.m4b audiobook format.

To download in the first way, create a new playlist in the iTunes interface. Select "File" -> "New Playlist". After that add the required audiobooks to it. After they are copied, click on "Music" and select "Sync Music". To start the process, click on the "Apply" button. After that, all the selected files will be in the iPhone.

To download in the second way, convert audiobook files.mp3 to.m4b. To do this, download and install the free MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter software. Run the installed application. Click on the Add button and select the required files in the window that opens. Choose the type of conversion: save all files in one audiobook or each separately. You can also specify the title of the book, author, genre, etc. Then click the Start conversion button.
Step 5
Then, in the iTunes interface, select the "Audiobooks" section. Add the resulting.m4b files to it. Synchronize the application with iPhone to download audiobooks to it.
