Most phones with mp3 ringtone capability have both a built-in mp3 player and enough memory to store most of the songs. Step 1

These programs have high quality processing and functionality, sufficient not only to trim the desired track, but also to adapt the music track. Due to the specificity of the cell phone speaker, low frequencies cannot sound fully, therefore, tracks and cut melodies must be processed to achieve optimal euphony.
Step 2
Open a track using one of the editors listed above. You can either open it through the "File - open" editor menu, or drag and drop the audio track into the working area of the program. Also, you can right-click on the track you need, then select the audio editor through the "Open with" menu. Wait for the track to finish loading.
Step 3
Determine the section of the song you want to use for the melody. By moving the playback slider with the mouse, fix the beginning and end of the future melody. Using the "delete" button, delete unnecessary sections of the song. Use such features of the editor as increasing the working area, as well as slowing down the track being played. This will allow you to trim the song more accurately without wasting seconds or trimming the melody.
Step 4
Use graphic equalizer and normalize sound effects to achieve the best ringtone sound. With the graphic equalizer open, minimize the low frequencies by increasing the high. Align the EQ sliders so that they form a straight line starting at the lowest frequency and ending at the highest frequency. Listen to the track, make sure it's euphonious, and then apply normalization or volume up. The optimal step is ten percent.
