Modern smartphones from Samsung run the Android operating system. There are also budget devices that do not have an operating system and work like regular phones. Depending on your device, the installation procedure for various applications, including themes, will also differ.
Instructions
Step 1
To install a theme on a Samsung phone running Android, you can use the Play Market program, which is already available on your device. Click on the application icon in the main menu of your phone.
Step 2
In the upper part of the window of the program that appears, enter the query "Themes" and wait for the corresponding results to appear. Select the themes you like most from the offered options, then click "Install" to start the installation.
Step 3
After downloading the necessary themes, you will see the corresponding shortcuts that appear in the main menu of the device. Launch any theme to apply the color scheme. Also, some skins come with options for customizing the interface, which allow you to change the transparency of screen elements and skins.
Step 4
If your phone does not have an operating system (for example, Samsung s5230, 5330 or S5750), installation will be done using a computer. Download and install the Kies program in Windows following the instructions that appear after launching the installation file.
Step 5
Download and unzip any theme you like for your phone to any directory on your computer that is convenient for you. After that, copy it to the "Start" - "Computer" - "Local drive C:" - "Users" - "System username" - Documents - Samsung - Kies - Applications.
Step 6
Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable and launch the Kies application itself using a shortcut on your desktop. Go to the "Downloads" tab. Highlight the theme that you want to install, and then click Install and wait for the message that the unpacking of the required data to your phone is complete.
Step 7
Then you can disconnect the device from the computer and select the desired theme in the corresponding menu item. Click "Install" to unzip the files. Then go to the settings section responsible for changing the color scheme and apply the skin you just added. Installation completed.
