Flash cards are special modules that are inserted into portable devices to increase the amount of physical memory. Depending on their parameters, they can be formatted in a specific file system, which will allow them to be used in the same way as the memory of a computer's hard disk.
The phone file browser does not always show all the files on the flash card. This is due, firstly, to the fact that many elements of the system on this removable disk are assigned the "Hidden" attribute. To change this value, connect the removable storage to your computer using your phone's adapter or USB cable. Check the map for viruses and open it using Explorer.
Enable the display of hidden items in your operating system by choosing the "Folder Options" item from the "Tools" menu. Go to the appearance settings tab, scroll to the bottom of the list, uncheck the box "Hide extensions for registered file types" and check the box next to "Show hidden folders and files". Apply and save your changes.
Go to your memory card and check for hidden files or folders. To change the assigned invisibility attribute, right-click on the items you need and select "Properties". Uncheck the Hidden option, apply it to subfolders and files, and save the change.
You can also check for hidden files and folders using a special utility called FAR-manager. It is one of the most reliable browsers out there at the moment. With it, you will be able to see even those files that were not visible after turning on the appropriate mode on your computer.
After assigning new values to the files to the folders, open your flash card in the phone again and check if you can fully view all the contents. Also note that some files are displayed as unknown due to incompatibility or lack of a program to open.
Some files on your memory card may also be inaccessible when you try to find them in the galleries of your phone. This may be due to format incompatibility, however, these files can be opened from the file browser by additional applications installed on your smartphone.
