Genius graphic tablets provide a wide range of artistic options on your computer. However, the tablet requires proper connection and installation of the necessary drivers for the tablet to function.

Step 1
As a rule, a special cord is used to connect tablets, including the Genius brand. One end of it is already attached to the device, the other has a usb interface for connecting to a computer. Insert this end of the cord into the corresponding connector on the computer system unit. Wait while the system detects the connection of a new device.
Step 2
Next, you need to install the drivers for the tablet to work. The installation files are located on the CD that comes with the device. Remove the disc and insert it into your computer's drive. After a while, the autorun window will open. Select the item responsible for installing the driver. Depending on the version of the Genius tablet, before installation, you will need to specify some data in the program window: the device model, the type of operating system used, the language, whether you need to install additional utilities. After that click on the install button. Wait until the end of the process, then remove the disk from the computer drive and restart the operating system for all the changes to take effect.
Step 3
If the kit did not include a disc with drivers or none of them fit, download the driver from the manufacturer's official website. To do this, launch an Internet browser, enter the website address https://genius.ru in the address bar and press the Enter button. Wait until the main page of the site is fully loaded, then open the "Technical Support" section, then select "Driver", and then select the "Graphics Tablets" category. Select the required model in the left column. In the "File" column of the table, click on the required file for downloading. The columns "Description", "Version", "Size" and "Date" will help you to make the right choice. Save the file to your computer's hard drive.
Step 4
Double click on the downloaded file. The driver installation wizard will open. Specify the required information, if necessary, and install the driver. After completing the process, restart the operating system.
