The service called "SMS-forwarding" is currently provided only by the telecom operator "Megafon". The rest of the Russian operators only allow you to forward calls of various types. However, "SMS-forwarding" is valid only within the network (messages received from other telecom operators will not be forwarded to another number).
Instructions
Step 1
To activate this service, you must type an SMS message, in which you indicate the text "fw 79XXXXXXXXX", and send it to the number +79272909090 (in the form 79XXXXXXXXX, you need to specify the number to which forwarding will take place in the future). The service can be turned off at any time. It is quite easy to do this: send a message with the text "nofw" to the same number +79272909090.
Step 2
Before connecting, it is recommended to replenish your balance if there are not enough funds on it, since the operator will immediately withdraw a subscription fee from the personal account, equal to 15 rubles. This fee will be debited regardless of the time of service activation (in the future, the subscription fee will be debited on the first day of each month). But the operator does not withdraw funds for forwarded SMS messages, since they are charged as incoming.
Step 3
Now for the standard call forwarding. You can install it (as well as disable it) by calling from your mobile phone to the short number 0500 or from the landline to the subscriber service number 507-7777. In addition, you can activate the Call Forwarding service yourself. To do this, use the special USSD command ** (forwarding service code) * (phone number) #. To cancel the selected type of call forwarding, dial your mobile number ## (call forwarding service code) # on the keyboard. If you want to completely refuse to use the service, dial the command ## 002 #. You can view all service codes and choose the one you need on the page of the official website of the "Megafon" operator.
