Sometimes it is urgently required to recover SMS messages deleted from the phone. This desire usually arises if the message contained important information (for example, a bank code). Can this be done?
Instructions
Step 1
Do not even try to make a similar request to your carrier. If such information is stored in his archive, he will be able to provide it only in case of an official request from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB.
Step 2
Explore the Messages menu on your phone. If you have a Deleted Items folder in this menu, it is likely that the last deleted messages can still be recovered.
Step 3
Go online to one of the sites offering assistance in recovering deleted information from computer hard drives or removable media. Download the program. Usually, such programs are provided free of charge for everyone, so if you were asked to send a paid SMS or transfer money to your account for downloading, leave this page so as not to become a victim of scammers.
Step 4
If you haven't turned off your phone or changed the SIM card since deleting the message you need, you can try to recover information using a card reader. The fact is that in almost all phones, deleted information is stored for some time in the cache memory of the SIM card. And finally, it disappears only when the phone's RAM is completely full.
Step 5
Buy a card reader from one of the distribution sites. Remove the SIM card from your phone and insert it into the card reader. Connect it to your computer via USB. In a moment, all the information stored in the SIM card memory cache will be displayed on the monitor.
Step 6
Please note: you can recover only a few recent messages in this way, so if you want to recover a message that was deleted several months ago, you are unlikely to succeed.
Step 7
Remember that you can only recover messages from a SIM card. Messages deleted from the phone memory cannot be restored.
