Step 1
When a second call is received on the cell phone, the phone beeps, which indicates an additional incoming call. Most often these are short beeps. To answer an incoming call without interrupting the conversation, press the "Hold" button on the phone and then the call button. The system will switch you from the first caller, who at that moment will hear a musical signal, to the second one, with whom you can start communicating.

If the current conversation is very important, you can refuse to accept the 2nd call by pressing the "reset" button. Then the caller on the second line will hear a busy signal.

If you need to have a conversation on the second line, transfer the current call on line 1 from the active state of the connection to the state of holding the call and answer the second call, which will be transferred to the active state automatically.

You can end the conversation on the first line and press the end call button. In this case, the call on the second line will also automatically switch to the connected state.

In different phone models, you can switch to the second line in different ways: by using the arrows to select between the two incoming numbers of the desired one, by pressing certain keys that are responsible for transferring the call to an active or inactive state.
