Step 1
Choose a place to install the TV. It is important that you have an electrical outlet and cable connector nearby. In addition, low humidity and lack of direct sunlight are required. Also consider the viewing angle when installing the plasma so that guests and family members can view the screen from different locations.
Step 2
Install your TV. To do this, use a stand (included with your TV) or a wall mount kit (usually sold separately). Follow the manufacturer's instructions to install the stand. Most of them attach easily to the bottom or back of the TV, and no tools are required. Place the TV on a sideboard, table, or shelf.
Step 3
You can also mount the TV to the wall. Wall mount kits are supplied with the required screws and mounting hardware. After placing the mount against the wall, mark the holes for the holes with a pencil. Drill holes in each marked location using the drill size recommended in the kit mounting instructions. Then attach the mount to the wall and insert the bolts into the drilled holes. Use a screwdriver to tighten them.
Step 4
Connect the cables of external devices to the TV according to the color scheme and type. For example, plug the A / V cables into the appropriate A / V jacks on your TV. Connect HDMI cable to HDMI slot and coaxial cable to coaxial port. Then plug in the power of the TV and external devices, plug them into a power outlet.
Step 5
Set up your plasma TV. To do this, turn it on and select the "Menu" or "Install" button. Review each option and customize according to your preference. Make sure to adjust options such as brightness, contrast, color, picture size, time, date, and input source.
Step 6
Check that all devices connected to the TV are properly installed. Also, make sure all cable TV, satellite dish or antenna channels are available.
